Tulsa FC, Cox Media Group Extend TV Partnership Through 2021 USL Championship Season – FOX23 News
TULSA, okla. – Tulsa FC and Cox Media Group are expanding partnership to broadcast games for local soccer fans for another USL championship season.
The club is extending its contract with CMG and FOX23 through 2021 to broadcast all 32 Tulsa FC USL championship games in the regular season on My41 Tulsa (KMYT-TV).
The programs begin with Tulsa FC’s preseason game against Austin Bold FC on April 17, which will air on FOX23 (KOKI-TV).
“For the past calendar year, Cox Media Group has been an invaluable partner in building our brand across Tulsa,” said James Cannon, president of Tulsa FC.
“Professional sports fans should expect to turn on the television to watch their local team play. This TV deal allows our Tulsa fans to cheer for Tulsa FC for free for every minute of every home and street game. “
The upcoming show on FOX23 will air at 2pm and marks the first time the club has played on-site on major network television in its history of the USL Championship in Tulsa.
“KMYT My41 will once again provide Tulsa viewers with live coverage of Tulsa FC home and away games during the 2021 USL season,” said Cathy Gunther, GM and Market Vice President, Cox Media Group Tulsa.
“We’re excited to be broadcasting the team’s special season opening game on April 17th with Austin Bold live on FOX23, just before the Fox Sports MLS airs later that day. It should be a great day of FOX23 football coverage. “

FC Tulsa is bringing back both members of its broadcast booth in David Saunders and Anna Beffer.
Saunders and Beffer will be on the booth for the preseason game on April 17th and for all regular season home games in 2021.
Saunders is a broadcast veteran returning with the franchise for its 7th season. The native Englishman from Exeter began his broadcasting career playing the English Football League for his hometown club Exeter City before moving to Tulsa. On site, Saunders has also called soccer games for the University of Tulsa and Oral Roberts University.
Beffer will be back at the booth at the Tulsa FC microphone for her second season. The former Oklahoma Gatorade Player of the Year and Oklahoma State University star was one of only two commentators in last season’s USL championship. Before moving to the booth, Beffer was a standout midfielder at OSU and played professionally in France.
Tickets for the preseason game are currently available in 2021. FC Tulsa Season Ticket memberships are only $ 8 per game.
The club is currently offering “FOR LIFE” prices for all season ticket purchases. This means fans can secure the current season ticket price as long as the club is playing at ONEOK Field. Explore season ticket options at FCTulsa.com/tickets.
