The shock video delivers excellent news about injured Tulsa officer Aurash Zarkeshan – 102.three KRMG

TULSA, okla. – Tulsa police officer Aurash Zarkeshan said in a video Thursday he can walk and stand comfortably and is making rapid progress in recovery after being shot on duty.

“I also did very well on many of my cognitive tests,” said Zarkeshan. “I feel very lucky to have such great support from the community.”

Sgt. Craig Johnson and Officer Aurash Zarkeshan responded to a traffic obstruction on June 29 when the suspect shot both of them. Johnson died of his injuries and Zarkeshan continues to recover.

A community-wide fundraiser helped raise $ 600,000 for Johnson and Zarkeshan’s families.
