TULSA, okla. – The Tulsa State Fair starts on Wednesday with a few changes.
Adam McKinney of McKinney Food Services said he was looking forward to an event this weekend.
McKinney said when this year started he never thought the fair would be reduced to five days and a smaller number of vendors.
“Nobody’s ever heard of anything like this,” McKinney said. “Our family has been in this business since 1927 and has never seen anything like it. Through the wars and everything else, but nothing like it. “
The 4-H and FFA Junior Livestock Shows take place inside the Expo Square.
The cattle show will be smaller to meet CDC and Tulsa Health Department guidelines.
“We have a lot of additional cleaning operations,” said Amanda Blair of Expo Square. “We have different sprayers that we go through disinfecting different high-touch areas.”
Admission to the food court is $ 5 and parking is free.
