Reasor’s buys out some Tulsa Meals Pyramid shops

Food Pyramid is selling its Tulsa stores and a household name buys three of them.

Food Pyramid bought Albertson’s five stores in 2007, but says the sale will help them strengthen their other Oklahoma stores in Cushing, Stillwater, Ponca City, and Bartlesville.

The sale means Reasor’s is expanding. They buy the Food Pyramids at 71st and Garnett, 51st and Harvard and the one in Peoria near 41st Street.

Shops at 81st and Yale and 51st and Memorial will close on September 3, 2013. One shop in 101st and Memorial has been closed for a while.

Food Pyramid is speaking to a potential buyer for the remaining property.
