QuikTrip opens the first of many Tulsa emergency clinics – 102.3 KRMG

QuikTrip is expanding beyond gasoline and snacks by entering the medical field.

QT has opened its first emergency clinic at Admiral and Sheridan in Tulsa.

MedWise Urgent Care is focused on providing urgent and preventive care, according to a statement from the city of Tulsa.

“QuikTrip is very popular in Tulsa because everything they do is done to a high standard,” said Mayor GT Bynum. “They have great service, great products, and are routinely rated as one of the best places to work in America. I look forward to her entry into the healthcare industry and can’t wait to see the benefits that I know will be of use to Tulsans in all parts of our city. “

QT plans to open a total of 15 clinics in the Tulsa area.

“As we expand in the region, we are particularly excited to open a location on the corner of Admiral and Sheridan,” said Dr. Patrick Aguilar, MedWise’s chief medical officer. “MedWise uses the patient’s perspective to improve the healthcare experience. We enjoyed being part of the communities in Wagoner, Coweta, and Broken Arrow, and eager to do the same in Tulsa. “

MedWise is open from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. on weekdays and from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on weekends.
