Tuesday is election day and polls are now open in 50 counties across Oklahoma.
In Tulsa, voters will make their choices for the mayor and some controversial city council seats. Perhaps the biggest competition in our region is the Tulsa Mayor race as GT Bynum can be re-elected against several contestants with a lot of talk about this race. Election officials say you may see longer lines, especially at peak times.
“The lines could be a little longer. You might have some of our district officials taking the polls for the first time simply because we had so many district officials at higher risk,” said Gwen, secretary of the Tulsa Freeman County Electoral Committee .
