Police examine first homicide in Tulsa in 2021 – KRMG 102.3

TULSA, okla. – A man was shot dead in front of an apartment complex in northern Tulsa overnight, police said.

Police said they responded to a shooting near the Towne Square apartments near Peoria and Apache around midnight Tuesday.

When they got to the apartment parking lot, the police found that 31-year-old Donza Settles was bleeding from a gunshot wound.

Officials say they tried life-saving measures, but Settles later died in the hospital.

The police are still investigating the events leading up to the shooting and have not identified a suspect.
