Tulsa police are still looking for a driver accused of beating and killing a pedestrian in downtown Tulsa this morning around 8:00 a.m. and then escaping the scene.
It happened on the 10th and in Detroit.
Tulsa Police Sgt. Benjamin Elliott says they have some leads on the ground.
“We have a piece of a bumper that is left over,” said Sgt. Elliott said.
He says part of the bumper, combined with surveillance video from nearby companies, should help them identify the vehicle in the incident.
He says because the driver left the scene it is now a crime.
The victim’s identity has not yet been released.
