Cincinnati vs. Tulsa Information: American Convention recreation postponed to December fifth on account of Covid-19

The Tulsa Golden Hurricane were on the rise after beating the # 11 Central Florida Knights two weeks ago, but another Covid-19 cancellation is on the agenda as the Cincinnati Bearcats can’t make it to Oklahoma for the TU homecoming game on Saturday will create. October 17th.

“I am initially disappointed with our soccer student athletes and coaches, and of course with our staff who prepared so carefully, our campus and the city of Tulsa,” said Rick Dickson, Tulsa Athletics Director, in a statement. “As the university, conference and NCAA have said during this pandemic, the health and safety of our student athletes are at the forefront of all decisions.”

It’s another bad break for Tulsa, which has now canceled or postponed five games because of the pandemic.

Cincinnati are 3-0 after beating South Florida 28-7 last Saturday. UC ranks 8th in the last AP poll, but could move down a few places if the Big Ten and Pac-12 teams are added to the mix.

This is the fourth game to be changed in Week 7: Baylor versus Oklahoma State, Vanderbilt versus Missouri, and Florida versus LSU have also been postponed for later in the season.
