TULSA, okla. – The American cancer treatment centers in Tulsa have announced that they will be closing their doors this summer.
The CTCA near 81st and Mingo has served the Tulsa community for more than 30 years and employs more than 400 people.
A statement sent by CTCA said: “Although CTCA Tulsa works tirelessly to overcome significant patient access and insurance restrictions that inexplicably limit patient care opportunities and prevent patient selection in this market, CTCA Tulsa will operate discontinue from June 1, 2021. “
The CTCA says its primary focus will be on delivering patient care and supporting staff.
“CTCA has been proud to have served the community and cancer patients from our location in Tulsa, Oklahoma for the past 30 years,” said Dana Haynie, president of CTCA Tulsa. “Our number one priority during this transition will be to ensure a seamless transition in patient care and to ensure that our 400 employees are provided with resources and support even during this difficult time.”
